Sound of Screams

 UK indie pop duo, Thumpers released their self-titled album on Sub Pop earlier in 2014.  If you haven't heard it yet, I highly recommend picking up their record.  It's filled with catchy melodies and hooks that are accented with subtle synthesizers that polish each song ever so delightfully.  Below is one of my personal favorites from the album.  Pick up a copy via iTunes or your local record store!

So I went to the record store the other day and picked up a few cds (all of which are amazing!). I'm giving you two of my favorite songs off of them. The first one is called, "Play By Heart" by Diamond Rings and the second one is called, "Chestnut" by When The Saints Go Machine, both of which are pretty calm and give off an overall relaxing sound. Robot Rave

I picked up this cd randomly a few months ago and man, it's a killer. Shit Robot is Marcus Lambkin. He is originally from Dublin, but moved to New York in the early nineties where his DJing career started. After a few collaborations, Marcus began to work on his own project. It's Music, It's Mellow

I don't know if you like a more mellow sound or not, but a band to look in to is Washed out. Their material is sure to please anybody's desire for good music. After releasing a 6 track ep entitled "Life Of Leisure", it's quite obvious that every song featured on it is absolutely phenomenal. I definitely recommend downloading this one!
